After extreme weather conditions across Europe in January,which affected supply and led to sky high prices of some products, February looks promising! Looks like the worst is now behind. Prices beginning to ease and product availability is improving.

Apples - mainly French and Irish. Supply is steady and prices are reasonable
Broccoli - Spanish,prices dropping
Celeriac - top quality!
Celery - Spanish,prices are static
Aubergine - holding the price


 
Baby leaf salads -supply is beginning to ease but still problematic
Iceberg - will remain problematic over next couple months 
Courgette - availability improved but still holding high price
Cucumbers - no problem ;)
Peppers - yellow/green/red/orange/mixed available. Green is the cheapest alternative at the moment
Tomatoes - prices slightly dropped but still quite expensive 

 
Orange - large Turkish 45's good value. Spanish 70's also available.
Marmalade orange finished

Lemons - Spanish,supply and prices should remain unaffected
Blackberries and blueberries - South African,prices are static
Raspberries - Spanish mainly for the month
Strawberries - Spanish good quality and value
Sweet potato - USA,supply is steady. TOP seller!
Bakers - price rice is expected
Baby potato - French TOP quality,directly to us from france
Good quality Irish produce currently available at reasonable prices:

  • Swedes,parsnips,carrots

  • Potatoes
  • Lollo,oak,frisby,butterhead
  • Mushrooms
  • Apples
